💡 Today’s Insight 💡
🗞 TL;DR - If you’re a content strategist looking to use GenAI tools for your brand, take note of how creators are using GenAI to create their content and connect with audiences. YouTube launched its most extensive survey to-date to look into how the global creator economy is using GenAI – and we’ve identified how you can action the findings for your brand.
💡 Insight - YouTube’s survey found that 92% of creators are already using GenAI tools, with 74% of respondents saying they know a great deal or a fair amount about the technology. That means even though AI may be an emerging tool in some industries, content creation is already embracing it. The reason is simple: it simply saves time. GenAI tools are great for small teams or brand marketers to save time and maximize resources.
89% of creators believe GenAI tools will likely provide greater access to special effects, production design, and cinematography to level the playing field between independent creators and big studios. AI can lower the bar to entry, meaning you can provide your audiences with higher quality content at scale.
Lastly, 87% of creators believe GenAI will likely enable creators to more easily and effectively export their content to countries around the world. So, if you’re a brand looking to provide your content to other locales and languages, AI might be able to help. By automating translations, captioning, dubbing, and any other cumbersome tasks, AI can help your brand localize content and reach more audiences.
