💡 Today’s Insight 💡
🗞 TL;DR - Hootsuite did the heavy lifting for all of us and analyzed over 1 million social posts from July-Sept 2024 across all different industries and social networks to find the definitive best times to post for maximum engagement.
💡 Insight - Overall, the best time to post on social media across any network or industry is 8 AM on Wednesdays (regardless of the time zone). Here are the best times to post on each network:
Facebook: 7 AM on Saturdays
Instagram: 5 AM to 7 AM on Wednesdays
X (Twitter): 10 AM to 1 PM on Mondays and Tuesdays
LinkedIn: 7 AM – 8 PM on workdays
TikTok: 3 PM on Thursdays
Threads: 8 AM on Tuesdays
Pinterest: 12 PM on Fridays
While the above times are considered the highest impact times from Hootsuite’s research, it’s especially important with Facebook to focus on time zones for your target audiences. Facebook has a much wider global reach than other social platforms, so shifting times might be at play.
However, users of all social platforms typically check them multiple times a day, and algorithms can be finicky when surfacing your content when it goes live. So, don’t feel like you need to stick to these times exactly!

🫥 YouTube is experimenting with hiding view counts & upload dates. The test is part of an effort to make a cleaner homepage UI and encourage users to take interest in non-viral content. So far, no one seems to like it.

⬆️ Speaking of experiments, LinkedIn is testing out a top navigation bar for its app UI. The nav bar is usually on the bottom of the screen, just like it is on most other social platforms. Don’t worry though, it’s still only in test mode.
