Since his takeover, the company is now complying with government requests 83% more than pre-Musk times. Musk has said that Twitter has no choice but to comply as Twitter will always align with local laws, but Twitter has held firm on some requests in the past.
Takeaway: At face value, this might seem like a good approach… but the concern lies in Twitter’s capacity to take stronger stances on requests that are in opposition to local laws. Plus this approach could be at odds with Musk’s push for free speech on the platform.
Google’s new Product Studio will allow Google Shopping merchants to easily customize and edit product images for free using generative AI. The tool was designed to help sellers create a more diverse range of product images on eCommerce sites. The feature is rolling out to the US “in the next few months.”
Takeaway: According to Google, product listings with more than one image typically see a 76% increase in impressions & 32% increase in clicks compared to listings with one image. Judging by how easy the tool sounds, why would you not try it out?? Here’s to hoping Google makes more useful AI tools like this!
