💰 How Tinder Engaged Millions By Doing Just One Thing

Tinder engaged millions in political conversations during the 2016 U.S. Presidential campaign. The secret was their custom 'Swipe the Vote' solution – an in-app polling feature, driving global engagement on key election issues. This custom solution ultimately underpinned many white label advertisements on the platform.

How did they do it?

  • Tinder leveraged an already ‘hot topic’, giving the audience a way to express their opinions through polling.

  • The polling feature was designed to be highly engaging and innovative for the audience.

  • It’s easier for enterprise company employees to get budget allocated from their manager vs. getting the internal dev team to do the work. Tinder realized this and turned to Codingscape who built this super software for them.
