🏆 Behind Every Great Brand...

...is an agency partner who came up with an impactful marketing strategy to grow it! Like Nike, who worked with Wieden and Kennedy on their infamous 1988 campaign "Just Do It," and Apple, worked with Chiat/Day on their "1984" commercial that shocked the world.

💡 Today’s Insight 💡

🗞 TL;DR - Is your logo just visual, or audible too? If you’re feeling confused by that sentence, this guide is for you. Don’t worry. The concept of sonic branding is essentially: synching audio with visuals to create custom branded sounds. With the growing amount of video and audio content, sonic branding agency amp thinks you should absolutely be taking advantage of adding audio to your logos.

💡 Insight - Amp recently ran a study asking 300 U.S.-based participants to watch 15 visual logos and rate them. In the study, audiovisual logos (those with audio accompanied) were rated as more authentic, relatable, trustworthy, uniquely attention-grabbing, and likeable than strictly visual logos.

The study found that logos with motion synced to the audio were rated higher on all positive attributes than motionless and unsynced logos. On the other hand, the unsynced logos were rated as slightly more relatable and trustworthy.

What brands are crushing audiovisual logos right now? Mastercard topped the list with a detailed sonic branding plan. Shell came in second, followed by insurance company Swiss Re, AutoZone, and Norwegian telecom Telenor. Other top U.S. brands include Old Spice, Burger King, Popeyes, and Little Caesars.
