🎯 Holiday Hack Every Agency Needs

The holiday buzz everywhere reminded me of the time I used to run a marketing agency. One of the biggest challenges was managing influencer campaigns for multiple clients, especially during the holidays. Each client had different goals, messaging, and audiences to target.

After a lot of trial and error, I found SARAL. This tool helps marketing agencies find the perfect influencers for DTC clients.

SARAL automates the entire outreach process and helps manage multiple influencer campaigns with ease.

💡 Today’s Insight 💡

🗞 TL;DR - Measuring marketing efforts is an increasingly challenging task, especially with third-party cookies becoming less impactful and new privacy regulations always on the horizon. Perfect PPC measurement won’t be possible in 2025 (it won’t be perfect for your competitors either!), but with some key strategic actions now, you can position your campaigns to be as successful as possible.

💡 Insight - Here are the steps you need to take to ensure measurement success in 2025:

  1. Ensure privacy compliance - this is especially important if you’re advertising in the EU with GDPR compliance or in the US with CCPA regulations.

  2. Audit third-party cookie usage - make sure you understand where and how you’re using your tracking pixels, ensure enhanced conversions are set up across platforms, and clarify your tag management system.

  3. Invest in first-party data collection - also ensure the data you’re capturing tells you who they are, where they came from, and what they engaged with.

  4. Adopt privacy-first measurement strategies - this includes Google’s enhanced conversions and Meta & LinkedIn’s CAPI, which give you more details on your conversions without click IDs.

  5. Explore server-side tracking - it’s more expensive and complicated than third-party cookie tracking, but a much more durable solution.

⚡️ Today’s Headlines ⚡️

Threads is testing the ability to schedule posts. Which isn’t super shocking, since it’s one of the most highly requested features on the platform. The feature would allow users to schedule a post directly from the composer on the app.

💨 Bing Search is getting faster and more accurate. It’s in large part thanks to Bing training SLM models and its integration with TensorRT-LLM which process and understand search queries more precisely.

🗣️ GIPHY published its Key Conversational Trends of 2024 Report. If you’re an aging millennial like ourselves, you may be somewhat familiar with some of these terms but you might not want to embarrass yourself by using them in IRL convo (looking at you, skibidi).
