💡 Today’s Insight 💡

🗞 TL;DR - If you – like 15 million other people – are now on Bluesky, you might be wondering what to do from here. The Verge gathered a list of the top tools to use within Bluesky and we’ve summarized them for you below.

💡 Insight - Custom Algorithmic Feeds - Bluesky offers two algorithmic content feeds to start – “Discover” and “Popular With Friends” – but where the platform really shines is in custom user-made feeds, which you can explore in the sidebar under “Feeds”

Starter Packs - Similar to custom feeds but a prepackaged list of accounts chosen around a theme. These are also user-generated and are a great way to start finding accounts to follow. You can find it by clicking the hashtag symbol in the top right of your feed.

Custom Domains - Bluesky allows you to pick your own domain name suffix for your handle if you own the domain, which is pretty cool from a branding perspective. However, if you do this, your handle and former domain name combo is free for anyone else to claim.

Labelers - These are third-party services that can tag accounts or content for informational purposes or for moderation. Some people are getting really creative with them though by adding labelers for pronouns, favorite sports teams, and fandom labels.
