"We drive over 4 million visitors to our website … I started to question after all of our AB tests … there’s a lot of form builders out there … why has nobody recreated forms as we know it? They all look very similar … is there a way to improve conversion rates way more?”

I recently interviewed the Payman Tie on the launch of his new product Visme Forms.

Today’s Insight

Top Search Trends of 2023?

📰 TL;DR - Google introduced their annual final list of most trending phrases and topics of the year here

💡 Insight - Although you might not find your next hidden keyword to bid on with search ads or try to rank for with SEO… I always used the Google Trends annual list to inspire:

  1. Meme-related content for my brands (for example: the question “How often do you think about the Roman Empire?” was the most searched “how often” question of the year… that could be a viral TikTok for @MarketingMax or meme variation for a client’s ads)

  2. TikTok/Instagram songs - adding popular music to your videos inside the app can help increase reach and I’ve never heard of 4 of the 5 top searched for songs in 2023 so you might see “Try that in a small town” by Jason Aldean in an upcoming @MarkeitngMax Tik Tok

  3. Famous people - mentioning the most searched Actors or Athletes or people in general (at the top of the list) in ads or marketing collateral can help make your brand seem more relevant with the times (for example: Jamie Foxx was the second most popular Actor searched this year so maybe a tagline referencing him would do well)

Regardless how you choose to use it, I recommend checking it out and seeing what you can test / try / give a shot with this data.
