It's a daily routine. You open your email, there's a few unread (sorry to those that have hundreds...) and you get ready to assess your workload for the day.
After a few moments, a fresh one bumps to the top of the stack. Out of habit, your attention shifts, and you're probably more likely to open it rather than scroll to the bottom of the pile, right?

Lang shares what she learned and what you can do to achieve such rapid growth as well.
💡 Insight - Here’s what Lang suggests to skyrocket your TikTok growth:
Post every single day. I know, we’ve all heard this one a lot, but it’s repeated for a reason! Lang notes, “Consistency often trumps all else when it comes to social media success” regardless of which platform you’re on.
Lean into a niche area of content. Being a specialist creating content in a very specific area helps TikTok’s FYP algorithm start surfacing your content to relevant users, rather than broad content that doesn’t resonate as much.
Aim for high watch time and use hooks to get there. Anecdotally from Lang, videos with the highest watch times garnered the highest views. This is accomplished through a strong, clear hook right from the outset on what the video is about.
Trends and popular audio can have an impact, but they’re not magic. If your content is bad or irrelevant, a trend or audio isn’t going to turn it around.
TikTok Live can help you reach more followers. Lives get pushed to more FYP algorithms and have some addictive gamification features that can help monetize.
Spend more time on creating & scripting and less time on editing. TikTok is all about raw, authentic content – lean into that.
Lastly, repurpose your content on other platforms! Lang found a lot of success reposting her videos as LinkedIn posts. More bang for your buck!
