In the research, 1 in 6 people say they clear their internet browsing history and cookie cache daily while 18% say they opt out of websites’ tracking cookies on a daily basis.
Takeaway: Oooof… what a tough hit to ad buyers. Highly recommend reading the entire research findings, but it’s not looking good for the future of ad tracking. The big takeaway? Users just don’t trust their data being used for ad targeting.
