Today’s Insight

📰 TL;DR - Sprout Social published a new study on consumer habits during changes in the social media landscape. Some top stats from the report:

  • 53% of consumers report higher social media usage over the last two years than the previous two

  • 68% report primarily using social media to stay informed about new products & services

  • 51% of consumers believe the best way for a brand to have an impact on social media is to simply respond to their customers

💡 Insight - Don’t overcomplicate social media and content. The people giving advice and “best practices” don’t work for you, don’t have your team, and don’t know your resources.

Ask yourself what an MVP (minimum viable product) looks like for your social media performance. According to these results, just showing up consistently and being there for your consumers can go a long way.
