🌊 The Tale of Two Businesses
Meet Business A: Every week, they pour money into Facebook ads, hoping to catch their audience's attention. Their budget dwindles, and they struggle to maintain engagement.
Now, consider Business B: Every week, they effortlessly connect with their audience through a simple brand newsletter that costs them a fraction of what they would spend on Facebook ads to reach the same audience. Their customers eagerly anticipate valuable content, building trust and loyalty.

💡 Today’s Insight 💡
🗞 TL;DR - Last week was Threads’ first birthday! They celebrated with a new report on the impact of Threads on culture and trends. Through a partnership with Wakefield Research, the study surveyed nearly 2,000 Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X, and Boomer users about their activity.
💡 Insight - Here are some key findings from Threads’ one-year study:
For 60% of respondents, connecting with others is the most important part of social media
Since the feature’s launch, 50 million Topic Tags (or, hashtags) have been created to bring communities together over similar interests including photography, books, fitness, and, of course, Swifties
67% of Gen Z users report checking their feed for entertainment-related news, 60% would check for music-related news, and 42% for fashion-related news
63% of all Threads posts are text-only, with text-only trends gaining traction – like prompts & repetitive formats
73% of Americans surveyed feel it’s always necessary to post in proper sentence case, but 36% of Gen Z opt to post in all lowercase
One in four Threads posts include at least one photo, with a growing number of Gen Z (47%) and Millennials (42%) opting to use the native camera in social media apps to take pictures they plan to share
