💡 Today’s Insight 💡

🗞 TL;DR - Let’s face it: social media feels kind of chaotic right now. No matter which platform you’re referring to, it can be hard to know how to reach audiences these days and what audiences want to see. Salesforce shared their tips for finding out what your followers want to see, and we’ve got the quick recap below.

💡 Insight - Here’s Salesforce’s key steps to find out what content your audience wants to see:

  1. Learn industry hashtags - Do your customers use different hashtags than you do? Stay on top of trends and create content about those trends to benefit from increased search traffic.

  2. Check competitor mentions, hashtags, and misspellings - What questions are your competitors fielding? Learn what customers need and want to know about.

  3. Keep an eye on more than just the big platforms - Where are your customers talking about you? This is where a social media listening tool can come in handy to find places customers are talking about you.

  4. Ask them! - When in doubt, post questions or polls to figure out what your customers want and gain a quick understanding of how they feel about certain topics.
