💡 Insight - Hashtags are less important than time, relevant mentions, and other indicators included in the post. These other pieces of context, like the post’s text, visuals, and keywords are what the system uses to show your post to the most interested audiences.
If you’re going to use hashtags, you should only use relevant hashtags to maximize effectiveness. If you’re already covering keywords in the main text of the post, consider how hashtags might supplement the target topic.
And if you do want to use hashtags, make sure to use the search function to find relevant hashtags and gauge their usage. Also, stick to using 3-10 hashtags per post.
