💡 Today’s Insight 💡
🗞 TL;DR - Next Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs will be taking on the Philadelphia Eagles for this year’s NFL championship title, but marketers will mostly be watching for the commercials. Marketing Dive has a comprehensive (live-updated) list of all the teasers for this year’s ads, and we thought you might want to take a sneak peek.
💡 Insight - Many smaller brands are coming in this year with a big spend including: Liquid Death with an ad created in-house by the brand and its production arm, Death Machine. Health and wellness platform Hims & Hers is advertising for their first time with a 60-second spot set to Childish Gambino’s “This is America.” Rewards app Fetch will air its first-ever game ad as the last official advertisement of the game, giving away $10k to 120 winners via a livestream in the brand’s app.
That said, expect to see many returning advertisers. Rocket Companies is sharing a heartfelt commercial that shows “no celebrities. No gimmicks. Just real people getting home.” Nerds, on the other hand, returns with rising young music artist Shaboozey featured with a bag of Nerds Gummy Clusters. Uber Eats is diving deep into the celebrity-fueled creative with a spot featuring Matthew McConaughey, Charli XCX, and Martha Stewart, among others.
Which ad spot are you most looking forward to this year? 👀
⚡️ Today’s Headlines ⚡️
🎞️ Threads added a ‘Media’ tab on user profiles. This highly-requested element displays all of the photos and videos the user has posted to the app, a feature X already has and Bluesky added last week as well.
