💡 Today’s Insight 💡

🗞 TL;DR - Pinterest published its annual list of predictions for the new year’s trends based on user engagement and interest over the past 12 months. And honestly, they’re probably pretty accurate as Pinterest has previously claimed that around 80% of its trend predictions actually go on to fulfilling the prophecy.

💡 Insight - Here are some of our favorite Pinterest trend predictions for 2025:

  • Cherry Coded: Gen Z and Millennials will infuse cherries into their makeup, menus, and mood boards this year with searches for “cherry vibe” up 325%

  • Aura Beauty: Gen Z and Boomers are driving a high-hue look that’s all about honing in on a color aesthetic like a makeup mood ring with searches for “aura effect” up 35%

  • Peak Travel: Apparently, cities have peaked. In 2025, Pinterest predicts mountain ranges will become the go-to travel destination as Gen Z and Gen X seek out fresh mountain air with searches for “skiing fits” up 255%

  • Mix and Maximalist: The rule for 2025 decor is more is more. Think bold patterns, eclectic prints, and delightful textures in all colors of the rainbow!
