🎥 TikTok Revamps Creator Fund

đź“° TL;DR - TikTok just beta launched their new, revamped creator fund program called the “Creativity Program” to pay high-performing TikTok creators for their work. It’s currently available to invited creators who are 18 or older, have an account in high-standing (rumored to be a minimum of 100k followers), and create original videos longer than one minute.

đź’ˇ Insight - The creator fund from TikTok has long been criticized for low payments. While this new program might solve some of the pains, it still has flaws. Brands looking to partner with creators are at an advantage if they’re willing to offer better terms for sponsored content. Show creators you’re invested in their work and reap the benefits.

🤖 Ads Are Coming to Microsoft’s Bing Chatbot

đź“° TL;DR - Microsoft is in early testing with its new Bing chatbot which allows users to talk to an AI-generated chat to find answers to their search queries. Soon, ad agencies will have the opportunity to create paid links within these AI responses. Microsoft says these ads will also be more prominent than typical search ads, which allows advertisers to potentially reach more users in the discovery phase.

đź’ˇ Insight - No one wants to have their business automatically generated if someone’s searching something dark or problematic. But that’s not to say there couldn’t be some really cool, inventive uses of AI chat ad spots. Plus jumping into this ad channel while it’s still new is a huge win for brands who are bold enough to try. Will you try out these new Bing chat ads?

🍹 PatrĂłn Tequila Is Serving AI Cocktails

đź“° TL;DR - Brands truly are jumping on AI from copywriting to cocktail creation, apparently. In celebration of National Margarita Day on February 22, PatrĂłn Tequila launched an AI art generator site where consumers can list their dream destination, favorite ingredient, and favorite garnish to receive a custom margarita image.

đź’ˇ Insight - AI is having a moment. It’s easy to jump on a trend of using ChatGPT to write your latest social media post, but it’s another thing entirely to play with AI tools and push the boundaries of what it can do for your brand. We’re at a groundbreaking time in this new technology. The brands that will stand out are the ones asking: How can we have fun with AI? How can I use AI to help my brand stand apart from the crowd?
