Well, a new report from The Register explains why Apple might not be trying to compete with Googleā€™s search engine dominance. Because Apple reportedly gets a meaningful percentage of all search revenue Google generates through appleā€™s mobile devices in exchange for Google being the default search engine.

If this report is true, it will undoubtedly create immediate anti-trust pressure for both organizations in the EU given everything going on with Google already in thir legal system.
