Thankfully, buffer analyzed millions of posts to pinpoint the best time to post on all major platforms for maximum engagement. They’ve done a deep dive into LinkedIn including the best times to post, best type of content to post, and how to find your audience’s best time to see your posts.

💡 Insight - When are the best times to post on LinkedIn for each day of the week? Here’s the breakdown:

  • Monday: 4pm

  • Tuesday: 4pm

  • Wednesday: 2pm

  • Thursday: 4pm

  • Friday: 1pm

  • Saturday: 10pm

  • Sunday: 7am

What’s the best day to post on LinkedIn? Thursday and Friday are pretty equally the best, though all weekdays have great engagement on the platform.

What’s the best type of content to post? Videos! Followed closely by pictures, then PDFs, then texts, then links. Sorry, conversion specialists.
