🗞 TL;DR - Apple has extended a 30% service fee on all ads purchased in Meta’s iOS apps. But Meta wants brands to keep advertising with them, so they’re incentivized to help advertisers avoid paying the extra charges. They’ve released a new simplified guide to make it easy to side-step Apple’s additional fees.

💡 Insight - Here are the steps Meta says you should take to boost content while still avoiding the Apple service fee:

  • Boost your content by accessing your Instagram or Facebook brand accounts directly from your desktop or mobile browser

  • Add prepaid funds to your ad account from Payment settings from Meta Business Suite on desktop or mobile browser

  • Cut out service fees completely by using Meta’s Business Suite or Ads Manager
