⚠️ Most consumer brands get THIS wrong about seeding products to influencers

The old tactic of "no commitment" influencer seeding does not work anymore. It creates unrealistic expectations and uses bait-&-switch to get creators to promote you.

Meanwhile there some brands that seem to just get it. Why? They're doing something different... something unique... something that is not commonly shared on Twitter.

In this private document, made specifically for Growth Daily readers, a former agency owner shares what really works with influencer seeding. The doc has all his playbooks, templates, and follow-along videos. Use it to get endless influencers promoting you on auto-pilot.

TODAY’S DEEP DIVE
Polaroid photos showing White Claw in the summer from their campaign artwork alongside cans of White Claw

📰 TL;DR: In their latest campaign “Claw Back Your Summer,” hard seltzer brand White Claw is targeting the 54% of employed U.S. consumers who haven’t planned a summer vacation this year. The brand conducted their won survey research to fuel the campaign finding that 24% of Americans will not use all of their vacation time this year, while 56% of those who do go on vacation don’t completely “unplug” from work while away.

The campaign includes several vacation prize giveaways for consumers who follow the brand on Instagram, including small getaways like an evening with a personal chef.

💡 Insight: Make a campaign from relevant data. White Claw could’ve easily made a generic “summer getaway” campaign since their brand is so synonymous with hot days and unwinding (like many alcohol brands).

But they dug deeper to actually identify and understand their target audience. They’re not just doing a generic summer campaign, they’re pointedly and strategically targeting a corner of the market who needs a direct message.

Even more: they did their own digging. They conducted the survey to find insights about their audience and now they get to reap the benefits. If you can’t find the data, collect it yourself.
